That makes sense to me as well, OTA, for some future inevitable possibility anyway.

Re: Funny how we forget that we are allowed to change our minds
Azur, that's a good thought. Maybe in striving for balance I need to first learn how not to be rigid with myself.

Re: Myrrhage
abanerjee, kind words indeed, and I can't help smiling and feeling at least a
little less pathetic. But as that quote from Eleanor Roosevelt I scribed earlier: Inferiority is a choice I made. Let others feel superior without my captive audience. Anyway, I am just so glad to see you're here and giving the old KEEE-YAI!!

The greatest strength is shown, and from which inspiration is drawn is to go haywire and to be able to make a comeback, Mad Monkey Kung Fu you could call it. This is what we were taught at the brown level Karate lessons. So,

it up!

Re:
Moon, that's worth more than you'll ever know. Or maybe you
do know.Having both eyes on the divine requires having them always open... orfor those who believe one can't regard the countenance of God directly,it means having them closed, which rather obstructs one's vision ofearthly things anyway.

Re:
That's true, BC-A. It's just that discussing the issues doesn't help me cope personally. Just being here helps, as long as I can turn away at the right moment...

Re: You have echoed what many of us here feel.
Straightforward, that's good to hear. Echoing is far preferable to yelling into an empty pit.

...i practice not looking at most things (of an 'earthly' nature) full on...i practice keeping my eye on the divine and seeing all else peripherally...giving them the attention they deserve...peripherally...to accomplish tasks....to avoid calamities...to deal with 'reality'...i practice...but, i am only so proficient at it...for however many farthings, or pfennigs, as the case may be, that is worth...moon

Re:
FSI, it should be much more enjoyable now. Reading/discussing the news brings me nothing but chagrin these days. Better not to "go there". Besides, this back and forth online has nothing to do with reality. In conversation there is no delete button, no pausing to "research" on Google. Inferiority is the perception versus the reality then. I'll be writing about all that in my next post. Plus this quote:
"Noone can make you feel inferior without your consent." Eleanor Roosevelt
