What is it about Humans and Bonfires? We love them. My friend and her
husband clean up the natural debris on their ranch and form a HUGE bonfire each year and we all just go there to stand around eating yummy food, drinking a tiny bit and watching the fire, and watching the fire and watching the fire. The flames reach up to Heaven, it seems.
The warmth of the fire warms your bones enough to last all winter and the comraderie just hums in the air. Fire.............is our friend.

'Sanctuary' is used for refuge, for holy places, so is wild life a holy place which, indeed, has a cleansing effect on the minds. I once saw a tiger in Ranthambore and can still not forget its wonderfully confident but leisurely gait.

Hey Nita I was wondering if people still remember Guy Fawkes night . We were taught about this at home by my British father but most people I know did not know about it. Glad to see your post on this subject. I am sure we Canadians learned this in school also. Enjoy your weekend !

Nita have a lovely weekend. We used to celebrate GF. night in Australia
when I was a kid but of course it is late Spring and all the grass is already dry and sometimes the heat is in the 90's or( high 30's) sowe used to end upwith bushfires. But I loved the firworks and bon fires.

This was very informative! You share the neatest stuff, to toss in some slang! I hope you have a marvelous time! I don't know if I told you but Christopher is back from Egypt and in one piece, lol! He said it was successful and he enjoyed seeing the pyramids! He said he also took around 300 pictures! Hmm, was there time for work>? lol Shelly

Yes indeed! 'Remember, remember the 5th of November, gunpowder, treason and plot.' I used to love Guy Fawkes night when I was a child; thank you for reminding me of it Nita. Enjoy yourself at the wildlife sanctuary and I hope you take lots of really good photos. THanks for visiting me and leaving your kind comments.

Excellent!

Oh my between Henry VIII an James I added to church reformers with quirks maybe we should get what we can to the scriptural references in Shakespeare! In any event this post is terribly interesting. Thank you for sharing. BC-A, Bill’s RJLst
