- Go to Phylacteries (Teffilin) and Chinese Medicine
I learned about phylacteries when I was a kid, being interested in cultures and religions. But, I didn't know they were also called teffilin. I thought that was something they coated non-stick pans with.

What a lovely parallel. It's a reminder we're all connected.

that connection gives me goose bumps but hang on.......I read somewhere
that at one time there was a decent sized Jewish settlement living peacefully in China....centuries ago. Perhaps some overlapping of cultures? I find it interesting to discover where practices still continued, may have begun. So many Christian celebrations haveorigins in local pagan customs that were practiced for eg. by the celts.
