Couldn't get to the link, but I remember from other reseach that the dosage is important - if taken regularly, it should be done so only in small dosages...

Thanks for the article link. I do not take asprin, but my mother-in-law does for prevention.

I am wishing you well with your new handy man. Have fun and I bet that
the more odd jobs he does the more you will find that could do with a fix it.

Re: I know this "therapy" is a bit controversial...
From the article I gathered that they were warning people without any history of heart problems not to treat aspirin like, say, vitamin pills.

I know this "therapy" is a bit controversial...
I mentioned to my doctor that I'm taking a baby aspirin each day, and he nodded, so I'm guessing it's ok, in light of elevated BP and a problem with atrial fibrulation following my surgery last year.

Thanks for the link Betty; I have read about the "myths" surrounding aspirin and must read this article. Thanks for your visit, and enjoy the view! Nita.

Just a clarification
my 'knight in shining armor' is an odd-job man/window-cleaner. They are few and far between over here. He appears to be obliging and genuine, but I'm going to pay him cool cash for his services.
What is more he's young enough to be my son and he's married. So folks there's no romance in the offing!!!

Betty - It's amazing that people take aspirin just to ward off heart disease even when healthy. Interesting and I don't know about that prince now!! Well anything for a clearer view of the outside world.lol. Have a lovely day and keep warm.
