I guess they don't grow down South, I have never seen one. I don't like really ripe bananas either, but George will eat bananas and mangoes in almost any state of ripeness. I like mangos really ripe.

Justi ~ pawpaws are like a cross between an over-ripe banana and a soft mango, except they have a buch of good-sized seeds in them. Since I'm not fond of ripe bananas, I don't much care for pawpaws either. I say "Let the coons have them!" LOL

Oh I loved the video. Made me remember church when I was a child. What is a paw paw? We sang a kids song about down in the paw paw patch? Are they like persimmons?
