Re:
Dear Shelly, wow these are hard forms for me...I'm glad you found it well done. I bet your highlands are beautiful ~ Yes, I penned this one in light of Lake Buchanon and that area where the Highland lakes are: http://www.texasoutside.com/highland.htm We would visit them while the children were younger and where we were in Fredericksburg, these lakes are not far away ~ we must drive by when going back to Tyler. It's amazing to me that Marfa is one of the top 20 prettiest cities...I have always wanted to go there but, I'm told it's a very long trip. You can't fly into --- and the drive to get there from the closest airport is like 6 more hours...hmmm. I must get there one day. Area where artists all camp over...I'd love to visit, wouldn't you? and this was also famous for the movie: GIANT (one of my fave classics with Jimmy Dean and Rock Hudson, Elizabeth Taylor (what a beauty) ~ About them mystery lights...I'd certainly like to see that. I'm tickled you read of this and I'm glad you came and visited. I'm glad you're doing well and that my goodness, you have been logging much poetry. You amaze me ~
xoxo Love you Shelly ~ Elyse

Re: Hi Elysian
Aba, so glad you came by and told me what you're up to...I was thinkin' you got lost in outer space --- maybe you were abducted by a martian or something from Halloween night...

~ However, I'm so glad you are being the avid student and keeping on top of what you should be.

~ I pray for good, best grades. and thank you dear heart for your comment...I'm glad you liked. It's truly a difficult form for me but, it is good to help me hone or keep more discipline at times...I suppose...

~ You go on and stay on top of your studies...I plan on posting more and you don't have to catch up. Not to worry, ever.

A fine attempt indeed! I like the highlands for I live in a high desert! This was very well done from imagery, cadence and rhyme! I like the 1st and 3rd line that make up the final couplet, nice tie in! Love you!!!! Shelly

Also I saw on the net today that Marfa, Texas is one of the top 20 prettiest cities in America! Then I learned about the mystical light! The short documentary II saw said it was angles dancing in the desert! Too precious!

Hi Elysian
It is a sort of new dish to me and I liked it
... Just wanted to say I've not been around the last couple of days due to my assignments and project pressures. I'll try make up maybe after a day or so.

Re: Elyse
Good Morning my dear Troosha ~

~ ah yes, I struggle with forms - I try to hone in and practice any to just keep me old mind, heart and soul limber?

. I'm so happy you enjoyed as I started to chalk it up as "okay I tried..." and finish it up with an ~exhuberant ecstatic end. Shew it's hard to draw within 'lines' - (I believe I feel it confines) ~ I'm honored as I do so love your free-form ~ Elyse

I don’t know the “style” – as you know I stick mostly to my free-form writing – but I enjoyed the feeling this invoked. Ahh… a new day dawning!!!
