Re: Thanks, Corbin! I've bookmarked it! Then again, we want something VERY
If I could get a log for $25k here in CA that would be a good deal, to buy anything that was liviable would be at least $200k

What a wonderful choice of properties in beautiful surroundings.

Corbin, another thing...we want something 2 hours or less, and
unfortunately, to get something like what you posted, we'd have to drive 3 to 5 hours further south.   So, the challenge is finding something with acreage or extra lots, or near gov. land and close to water, too, without driving too far.  Arkansas has really gorgeous properties and CHEAP...but that's too far...

Corbin, that's gorgeous - a real retreat with a nice view for sure! I
always look for properties $50,000 and less, but even if we can afford more, we want something much less to keep our costs down. You know how it is.

I understand.....Right now, I'm searching in the same price range maybe up to 50k, there is a pricing tab.....you can clike it for "lowest to highest" and catch your price range........This is my favorite on on a cliff on a lake know as Rough River in KY....

elysian, that's my second favorite ONLY because it isn't "finished" and
unfortunately, Mr. Ariala is not a Mr. Fix It.  I like the view and location possibly best on that second one, but it's slightly more expensive and needs finishing.

Thanks, Corbin! I've bookmarked it! Then again, we want something VERY
affordable. For us, that means a cabin UNDER $25,000 or even less!  Most of these are less!
