Beautiful, beautiful--pictures and poem. I like the name "Piney Woods". There is something homey about the sound of it.

Thank you Mariposa for your visit here and the long one...a small creek - the waters have risen a bit near this village, due to recent heavy rains. It lends for pretty and some.

... Have a great week and good luck on your Novel ~ I'm rooting for ya. God bless you

Re: Elyse
Thank you WileyJohn and Kabuski ~ I'm HOME ~
~ my hubby drove home in record time...*my hair is still frizzed from the adventure ~ shhheeee LOL ~ I'm glad you enjoy the pix. These are of the fields 'round Fredericksburg, Texas where we my little cottage is. THe deer are out in droves now. herds running and hunting season starts next week. OY!!! Poor animals ~ but, that's the sport; I don't say much. The rains have been plenty here and thus, the trees are still holding their green here, moreso. My gardens are lovely as well...The ROSE was so full and beautiful. I was amazed. My other rose bushes had dried blossoms but I believe God had this one developed just for me ~
...
All is well and I am safely home. Love you both dearly, my kin ~ Elysiekins

and Mr. Chett is simply drained from his being 'on guard' the whole time, poor guy. I would think he would be used to this travel, but, he's not a traveler.

Re: Absolutely Beautifull Elyse! By the way-the Moon tonight is FULL-and most
Chris, I see the MOON tonight...I believe this is a Hunters Moon ~ So full the hunters, be it man or animal can prey tonight with its bright shining light. How beautiful your imagery...rolling around to look for us ~ Our skies are clear here --- it looks like a big opening, a portal and I believe it's to Heaven...

~

Now if that’s not embracing (and appreciating) the force and beauty of nature, I don’t know what is!

Absolutely Beautifull Elyse! By the way-the Moon tonight is FULL-and most
glorious!A pure-shining white disc-but sadley-great swathes of dark clouds keep hiding her and she appears to 'roll around'-trying to get glimpses of us all down here! God bless. Chris.
