This is so interesting, Nita. Although I confess I've never heard of the soul cakes here in the UK. Fascinating stuff.

You are so right, it is is a day of fun and merry making! Even the young adults in my life were scurrying about to resale shops looking for the perfect costume! I believe at times that is a great part of the fun, too! sam
