Re:  FormerStudentIntern ~
You write a lot about your father, but I can't remember anything written about your mother.  Do you have one?  And, will she be cooking Thanksgiving dinner for you and your dad?

Re:  auslander ~
As far as I am concerned, there will never be anything that can beat a really good loaf of bread.  Thanks for stopping by and commenting.  Wish I could give you a sample.  LOL

Re:  Samantha39 ~
Wish I could invite you to tea with lustorlove and me.  I feel like I don't know you very well and that It would be so nice to sit around and talk and get acquainted.

Re:  lustorlove ~
I wish I could serve you up a thick slice--toasted--and with tea.
It's perfect on this cold rainy day.  If you were here, I'd even go buy some orange marmalade to spread on it.

Re:  Nautikos ~
I don't know about your LSW, but baking on a damp or crisply cold day makes the house so cozy and warm your W wouldn't S so L.   Pumpkin pies will do the same thing as baking bread.

Did you dream about my yeasty loaf and the aroma floating over your leaping sheep in your sleep?

Re:  WileyJohn ~
Today I am copying you.  It's such a drab, wet, gray, cold day, that I'm perking up my blogging experience by putting my readers' names in color.  Great fun.  I can just see you baking bread.  Your Haikabu Helen is a lucky woman.

Re:  Pat_B ~
I know all about that no-white diet and I'm putting it off as long as I can, even though I love green, and orange and red too.

Some days, you just can't do anything wrong!
This was one of them. You had to write this rich, tempting scene just when I decided to try a diet where I don't eat anything white... no bread, no rice, no ... aw, forget it.

Re: OTA
If you don't have that on one of your 14 lists, it should be somewhere on one of them.  Oh, and don't forget the butter.

Oh boy, that sounds soooo good...Now, if I could only find a way to overcome my LSW's dislike of baking, or my own, for that matter...

Oh my! A loaf of fresh bread and forget that cake they think is better than sex. A cup of tea or coffee and you're set for the life of the moment.
