When, in places like Afghanistan, Somalia, Iraq, the Balkans and other places where order has been maintained by force for decades and then dissolved, danger arises for us or genocide spurs our people to call for intervention, we find ourselves trying to humanitarianly winkle out the bad guys.

I have always felt that Afghanistan held similatities to Vietnam

Lool what happenend to the USSR. Aust. has always stood with the USA. I want all our boys to come home. Years ago tears streaming down I walked the memorial wall in Washington DC. Boys my age they never knew life. wasted for what? Yooung Australians now holiday in a peaceful united Vietnam where prosperity is beginning to grow.

Wow, and precisely how I see the situation, and I've been trying to get heard about Canada getting out of there. Russia was destroyed by Afghanistan, I pray the U.S.A. doesn't meet the same fate. A great post luv
