Lovely, Troosha .. I'm sure there are more than a few people I could say this to:
"Stable and steady
highly over-rated
for the curve of unknowing
is far more exciting
than the straight line of certainty" - but not on a permanent basis .. (smiles)

Thought-provoking and stuff that revolutionaries are made of- ever searching and ever inquisitive and challenging their limits! Great idea, great execution as well!

Clever - really I have never thought of comparing the curve and the straight line. All these things are in the mind

and you put it in a nice poem. Chuck.

Oh, how come Troosha, we both did a Francis Bacon the same time? " ... for the curve of unknowing is far more exciting than the straight line of certainty." Tell me where do you find those excellently apt pics

We're never so certain as we are at seventeen...
as for the ending in doubts ... were truer words ever spoken? I like what you did with this inspiration, your poem has a lacelike quality about it.

I really like this! When we start off with an assertion we kill the discussion before it gets going. However when we start off with a doubt and a question then perhaps we get somewhere. Thanks for sharing Troosha!

To have all knowledge would be a sin ~ I like the thrill of learning...By far Troosha, okay, well maybe, but probably; this is soo awesome in depth, that it is
along with my favorites of yours.

such a painfully true poem! I find myself in this dilemma sometimes. I am strong-headed, and sometimes find myself starting with those certainties and ending with doubts! Great write.
