lionreign yes and if the cell did ring, I had it turned off or it stopped ringing before I found it in my bag and then I had forgot how to retrieve the message. I cancelled it.

With the exception of our kids (4 young women), who rarely call because they know we are well and fine, our phone doesn’t ring much either. We’re like kids when it does. We run over to it and check out the call display and then decide it we’re going to answer it. And depending on “B’’s mood, if it’s a solicitor he’ll take the call and give them a piece of his mind. It’s fun to watch and I’m never quite sure what’s going to come out of his mouth. It’s never pretty but always amusing.

I look forward to Sunday mornings which is when my daughter calls.
And occasionally on weekends my son in Iowa will call to chat while he's walking the dog. But most of the time it just sits there. Fine with me.

I dont hardly use my cell or house phone, but have them both for emergencies, the only calls I get are bill collectors, and my phone is set up so I can block those calls

I made a living on the telephone and if I didn't have to have one, I would not! I love the silence around my place! I got my poems copied from Blogit and made a master file and then put them on a flash drive! I was rather pleased for I was able to locate 493 poems! I don't know how many were lost but I still have a nice basket full of them! Have a nice evening my Kabu and I have you in my prayers, too! Thank you for praying for my kiddies! It is so ironic, I fear for my soldier son and he is the healthiest of the bunch! Go figure! I don't know if I told you but son #1, to take from dear Taps, broke his elbow this weekend! In the process I have lost my left arm to aid him. lol He is a great son and I don't mind giving him a hand! I just wish he were 17 again, taking from Shobana's poem, so I could order him to stay away! Your sam I am
