Re:
elinjo ~
I love reading your blog and would be there every day but I'm getting slower and slower it seems on getting around to all of the writers here that I love to read. And, it takes me forever anymore just to write a blog post of my own. I used to be a lot faster. Hmmmm, could it be age creeping up on me?

Re:
Troosha ~
I do like it, but it's Son that loves it and keeps pointing it out to me when I forget about watching it. He is just fascinated by antiques and history.

I too like the 'Antique Road Show', especially the original Brit one - can't get enough of that accent, lol.
I'm waiting for them to get here, and I'll take my old 'Lady's Chair' (that's what it's called), stuffed with genuine horse hair...I can also take the vase that a woman once wanted so badly that she offered herself - but as you can see (well, you can't, actually, I guess you'll just have to believe me, lol), I still have it...

Somehow I had you pegged as an “Antique Road Show” viewer. Your son and his saw would certainly have made for a good vid. To bad he’s on to you….. Gotta be quicker on your feet, Taps....(easy for me to say) LOL

Sorry you missed the opportunity to film your talented son! However perhaps you could tempt him to make a repeat performance if you show him the following: http://www.musical-saw.com/photos.htm
Thanks for yesterday's visit and comment.

Yes, he's a "sharp" cookie and often gets his "teeth" into something interesting.

It's been awhile since I've seen a crosscut saw
or heard one played. At least 50 years. Some people just know how to live.

Yours must be the most unusual apartment/condo in the US. Most of the time people get rid of all the interesting things so they have the sparse group of things to show off the space well. You came from that huge house and have made a great place of a small space and son is able to keep his cross cut saw is amazing. You are an amazing lady.

Oh Taps :-) Children are children, no matter how old they are, and one thing for sure... if you do not snap it the first time they will not perform for you loll... I don't know how many times my babies did something so cute I was sure would get me first prize on that program "Funiest videos" but alas... I could never get them to repeat whatever it was they had done loll... There is a record though... right in your heart :-) xoxo
