Today I saw thunder! That is unusual here, except for a summer storm. Beautiful poem. Thank you for the visit. Your comments encourage me.

Dear Elyse -
The optimist hymn of Nature and mankind so tellingly obseved by Shelly, "If winter comes, can spring be far behind?", and now by you!!!

... Cheerfulness and Ely have now become synonymous. An exceedingly beautiful poem. Exalting, of course

Worship and exaltation are two of life's wonders that never grow old or boring. Any effort to do either results in strength and joy more than doubled.

There Shelly, I think I did it right ~

(always the perfectionist...LOL, like me I suppose)

~ Stay snuggly warm...windy storms are the best I find --- and I pray your son does pass it --- OH Poor Soul truly. They say that is worse than childbirth - for a man.

and yes, I would say he's had time of it...My goodness, sometimes I wish they were young enough to keep them indoors. (but then again, ---- nah!!! ) and I will take all that big cornucopia of blessings from you my dear Shelly ~ YUM --- love your feasts (and that numbers blog is a big hit with me...I am intrigued by each entry ~ ) I NEED to go to bed. I send you love and keep going with your copying. A flash drive is what I have some of mine on as well ~ it's important to keep the comments, yes.

Love much ~ Elyse xoxox

Re: Re:
Hey Elyse! Our temp is going to be around 47- 49 for the next five days! That is about 15 degrees cooler than normal! Tonight we are having a wind storm, 45- 60 miles per hour until 3 am. It is so terrible when the sand is blown around! It seems to permeate everything! That is so clever to put your works in a chest, mine are getting banker boxes! lol It does take a lot of time to cop a blog. I just have a master done in completion. And I have been making a second copy to a flash drive of my poetry on the dates posted with the comments. This is so time consuming! I value my comments so it is worth the effort!! My son did not know his elbow was brokken until he went to the doctor for a follow up on his stone that is in a gland that he is waiting for it to decrease in size to be able to pass it! Then he was up in the mountains over the weekend and he crashed on his skateboard, he's 27, I say hang up the board if you are not going to wear protective gear, but I am the only one listening, lol! WE find out more on Thursday what the course of action will be! It is not a good situation for he could lose mobility if heals improperly! He has had a time of it lately! I am sending harvest baskets filled with blessings, hugs and lots of Idahoan love!!! Shelly

Re:
Dear Shelly, yes brrr, I would imagine your weather is changing...it's cold to me here and I believe this front that has blown in is dropping our temp to 49 and that is frigid here in Texas...i wonder what the temps are in Boise? I am glad you are getting all your blogs off but I don't think I had near as many as you dear Shelly. I had no problems thank God but, it did take me about 3 or 4 days...I put them on a disc ~ It's a task...and I'm sorry for all your problems. I pray God speed that you will have it all to safety sooner. Oh I think I may have lost a bit of my writings, but as you I did mourn a bit, but had to let it go ~ God knows my heart

~ I have this huge trunk worth of journals, art, poetry that I leave for my daughters once I am gone --- for whatever they choose to do, either enjoy or burn...It's theirs (

) I pray truly that all will settle down for ya'...read in a blog remark that your son was home for a broken elbow? due to skateboarding...OH dear Heavenly ~ seems like when it rains --- I send lots of Love and hugs to you my dear Shelly ~ My heart tips to yours ~

I so enjoyed this! It is so autumn-esque in its imagery! We are having a very beautiful day, but then it drops dramatically so I take this imagery and hold it for it may be the last piece of a gracious fall before the weather spoils it all! I saw your comment and I have managed to get all my poetry off Blogit and I think I am going to fair well, I ended up with 623 pages of poetry! I hadn't realized I had written so much! Quakers, they never put the pen down, lol! I am going to back up a bit, though! My methodology is to fix something when it goes wrong and then put it in the past! Auslander cautioned me to not to hurry to remove the entries and I think I shall listen to her for I have rued my decisions on all this ado far too long as it is! What a mess! I remember when you had a problem, I truly hope you did not go through what I am currently experiencing! I still don't have a handle on what is saved and what is lost and with the volume I doubt I ever will! It doesn't sadden me though, I wasn't going to do anything with them! Thanks for stopping in to see me while I was off with my migraine, it made me feel better to read your comments! Love you dearly, my Elyse! Shelly
