Sam
I hope you sort your computer problems out but more importantly that you feel better soon. And then… write whatever moves your heart. Who knows… one day it might be poetry and the next it could be an excerpt from the novel.

Dear Shelly, so this means you are just starting a new 'poetry' blog right? this does not mean you are actually taking time off for leave or sabbatical or --- and I pray your health is a bit better today ~

This one conjures up for me many a moonlit summer night, for like you I feel the magic pull of the moon - we are true 'lunatics'...
I do hope that you will feel better soon, and that your computer problems will also be resolved. And whatever you do, don't quit writing poetry...

Why not an epic poem that becomes a novel?
Unless that would feel like putting all your eggs in one basket. Maybe alternate -- begin or end each chapter with poetry. Follow your natural bent.

Sorry to hear that you have been ill again. I hope you are feeling better today. Good luck! Hope your 'novel muse' puts in an appearance soon. My computer's playing up and the emoticons don't always work. So here's sending you my warmest vibes.

Enchanting poem; and I suspect you are a bit of an "enchantress" in your own way.

Yes Shelly, I believe I do know the one --- that Harvest full moon eh? and how could we not become acquainted with such by your marvelous description. This has stunning imagery throughtout (and we have an owl that hoots a bit nearer midnight) --- your lovely descriptive poem here reminds me of the beauty of a (autumn's) night ~
