You notice my comment about areas of the country affected by Global Warming
It's real to them.

And I am sure they wouldn't mind $100/yr more taxes if they can raise cattle, grow crops and not have to go into bankruptcy because of Global Warming.

And we all shouldn't mind that extra $100/yr -- it would be much cheaper than what we'd pay in grocery prices and health costs and more per year for the alternative, which is doing nothing and letting these events increase in severity.

Red States Man
It is a sad day when people threaten to have you leave Blogit for expressing your opinion. There have been two people on here from the very beginning who have insulted everybody who had any thought of a different opinion. This is a ridiculous idea.

Re: More Help For Middle Class
I agree! I would never wish for the end of the democrat party because then we would never have examples of right and wrong. If the democrat party was eliminated then there would be no wrong in the world so people could always understand why they need to choose the right instead of the wrong, LOL!

More Help For Middle Class
Red -- I believe the ultimate intent is to destroy the middle class(people like us) ; or at least reduce it to a "minimalist" fringe movement; in that manner an obstacle --  an impediment to "social" justice -- is removed.  As some other bloggers have posted:  They hope this spells the end of the Republican party. How sad and how such an attitiude trivializes our problems.  And, as the saying goes:  They are legion. joab

Re: I'm beginning to enjoy readin your sarky blogs
Sparky?! It is pure rage my friend...I think that may have been what you meant. To say that I am angry at what is going on in this nation right now is a major understatement. But hey, thank you so much for not suggesting I lose my Blogit subscription due to voicing my opinion. I do appreciate that greatly, lol.

I guess there are certain Americans you have to tell that Global Warming
doesn't exist.

like east Texas where an extreme drought has forced farmers to sell off their cattle because they can't feed them (and the rising beef costs because this accounts for 20% of U.S. beef).

Or produce farmers in California who are short on water (this accounts for about 40% of U.S. produce).

And all the Americans who see rising produce prices as a result and find shortages in the food stores.

Or maybe Los Angeles, Phoenix, Denver, Las Vegas and other cities that depend on the Colorado River for water, when that river is running below normal levels and those areas afce water shortages anyway.

You want to take chances with people's lives by denying Global Warming.  I don't want to take that cyhance.

Millions of lives are worth quite a bit of money, so the increase in cost you talk about is very well worth it.
