I hope you never have to leave your house and gardens and animals, you and Kabu.
If I were the person who bought your place, many years from now when you are physically gone from this earth, I would definitely want the two of you to be there haunting it.  LOL

 adnohr~Thank you luv, and I hope none of it happens to you either kiddo.Yes, her daughters are doing everything including painting the apartment. I just wish Margaret had taken a year to make such a huge decision instead of thre months or so. Yup, we're feeling better and thanks luv.

While both of you have all your marbles, and your memory's working

well enough to manage, there's no point in dwelling on the possibility of having to move. You've built a lovely home together, a safe little nest that protects you from the sleet and snow -- Sip your hot cocoa, munch a cookie and let the winter wind dance as it will. Love is good medicine.

Such a good heart you have, Wiley. Sometimes children, in an attempt to help aging parents, forget to consider what the parent is really feeling. I can't see myself moving into an apartment either, and giving up my dogs would break my heart. At least she knows he is going to a good home, and hopefully the daughters are arranging the move so that they are able to help her more. Hope you guys are better health-wise?
