Lovely, Troosha.. this one really speaks to me.  I've come to cherish my solitude, ad even to prefer it, for now.

I love solitude though I'm sorry to say that it's led to disconnect at times.

I too enjoy some aloneness, especially when I am in a crowd or on an
airplane.I just go to my planet of Zorg and there I am alone.

I love solitude and yes, it stimultes the mind. Beautiful picture and a great poem. Thanks for your comment on the soul sister. I'm pleased you had the same experience with French. It's kind of great to be suddenly able to communicate, however badly, isn't it?

Love this one, for I love my solitude! And I have two more days before they return! Lovely imagery that I have come to expect and always so wonderful to see you outdo yourself on a daily basis! sam

Very true....solitude is different from disconnect or loneliness! Thanks very much for your visit! Nita.

nothing at all wrong with a life of chosen solitude ~ as you say, serenity and peace to follow - reminds me of one of my fave actresses :

Miss Greta Garbo ~

and I've been known to say a few times: "I vant to be alone" ~

Absolutely gorgeous and penetrating.

Troosha, your poetry is deeply meaningful, surpassing even the eloquent language you use to craft it.  You're welcome for the heads up, though.  I hate when that happens!

I'm constantly struggling to maintain solitude without the suffocation of isolation.  You've illustrated it beautifully.
