The best thing about a museum is that there are so many different types of things to look at...All place in the area of "Art"...It just shows us the wide range of the human experience..Can't get better then that!

that's what is wrong so often one dimensional. Mind you there is some
wonderful art around but not thrown in with the antiquities please.

I love the old ones, always wonder how they made such lasting things...
But the old things were new once. Actually I paint a little, mostly my private jokes. That first one made me wonder if it was for fun, because it looks like the artist could have done something tried and true if she wanted to.

Not my kind of art, but I appreciate all creativity and culture,
whether in our country or the next. Thanks for sharing!

The first one did not appeal to me at all, but I liked the other two. I enjoy contemporary art because it is challenging. Where it should be displayed is another matter altogether. Thanks for sharing the pictures with us Vogue.

Re: I don't mind them being at all
Oh absolutely azur. A modern concert in an ancient amphytheatre is a fantastic idea, because it's a different art form. Perhaps I didn't do the poor Turkish painters justice.

I really like the third one but i like the second one too.
I like that modern things have a place in old places. When I was at Ephesus they were setting up for a Diana Ross concert, and I really liked the idea that an ancient auditorium is still used. Just my view
