sam, I'll have to look up Poe's "Enigma" ..haven't read that one for awhile
yes, some of those calls in the games both Sat. & Sun. seemed to come from "guessing game referees"......

Shelly, love the inspiration/ impetus for this acrostic ~ Great post as always.  I'm almost back home, waiting for plane in Houston --- only 2 more hours and I just may be home (in my bed)  ~ Elyse loves you Shelly and thinking of you and yours ~

That is something that can't be said of your poetry style
It deserves the opposite of obscurity.

It must have been a challenge to restrict yourself in this way. The result is very pleasing.

How very clever of you! Actually, I have seen this type of writing before, and rather like it. I have to admit you taught me something, because I didn't even know there was a name for it, so for this, I thank you. You will stay forever young, mentally, if you open your mind to learn something every day, and keep those brain cells active...lol. - INAHA

Shelly, this is very interesting; thanks for the background info! You were very clever to guess what happened to the trees in the story! You will love the 3rd one! My prayers are with you and Chris. Nita.
