Very inspiring
It takes courage to forgive. I like the differnce of hopeless love and hopeful love too.
I have been in one before and right now in the other.

Thanks for sharing. This story is sad and filled with much tragedy and hardship, but there is a hopeful element, and a grace to your words and perceptions that I feel will help this family to be strong and overcome.

For the most part, I believe the disguise will remain in vogue! Folks are quick to talk, slow to react! sam

A beautifully thought-provoking write, pastorsylvia.
There is great strength in the words:"Go and sin no more". But we do not realize the true import of the message and go on feeling ourselves as sinners and rarely ever cone to believe in our absolution. Just as charity begins at home, so does forgivenes begins with the 'self'.

Re: My first read here wow don't think it will be my last.
Thank you, Kabu. I am feeling very serious and pensive on this issue. More to come.

what ethical questions you have given here food for thinking for sure. A balance between crime and punishment. One would have to know this man and his family like you do to really make a comment but if he has forgivenhimselfthen he will be able to forgive his wife and maybe the powers that are in control will one day see that the boy is not the same as the man.
