A backyard which was "very nearly its frontyard" (Hemingway's home)... it reminded me of how much care and attention you give to your backyard, Sam. Fascinating poem as well!

Yes, it's very interesting living across where Hemingway lived,
I've also been wanting to read his writings for some time now, but I dunno why I still didn't get hold on any of his works

I love it! It's an awesome poem with wonderful memories that can haunt just as the Hemingway's haunted that beautiful area. That's a gorgeous lakeside town. Your career in education was full and your contributions rewarding and fine.

Wow MEDEAR! I had no idea how much you did for the education! I wish you still had that school: I would gladly go to work for (with?) you! As for the lake, I didn't even know there was one call Charlevoix, as the beautiful region East of Québec city! You never cease to amaze me!

Indeed the zephyrs of a time long forgotten brings back memories flooding through our minds, alongwith it brings also the smells, the warmth of the winds et al; it is like reliving, so to say. Enjoyed Ernest Hemingway's old place where he used to frequent and wrote many of his stories. This was excellent work, ma'am sam.

darnit, I meant Cheboygan.  Sheboygan is somewhere else.

Wow, what a tiny world we live on.  I used to live in a little town called Glennie, over by Oscoda.  We traveled to Traverse City and Sheboygan on several occasions.  I was pretty young, so I don't remember much of what we did, but I remember the beautiful scenery well.

Those schools of yours are wonderful accomplishments!  Thank you for taking me back to fond memories.
