It is such a fabulous thing --- your saving much for your children and a legacy ~ it is so great to find history and memories that linger.  I love your blog TAPS ~ reminds one to continue doing the best we can ~  very thoughtful, genuine and plain lovely - I enjoy your spirit ~ Elyse

It is odd the routes people take to their careeers
I must admit I mostly just drifted where the winds blew me to end up where I am

TAPS, this is a great post.  I love that you keep track of all these things!  It's all part of the rich history of each human experience.  Lovely.

Oh, I loved this. I am a fierce journal keeper. For my birthday this year I plan to take several of them and go to my favorite park table and read through them in the sunshine. I'm preparing for a variety of feelings. Life sure is funny, with its twists and turns...and everything works out, doesn't it. What a sweet, nostalgic piece. Made me want to go through some of my things in the near future. Thank you!

Taps
When I was young and fearless,l I sorted mail at the local postoffice during the Christmas rush until I became... ? .....  That's pretty cool they you have filed away or have in your head most of your family's  work history.  I can't remember what I had for lunch today.

I justknew that if you got busy with those bookcases that you would get
lost in the joy of forgotten treasures. Enjoy love; forget the world and revel in the past.

Very wise it was of you to keep hardcopies. I wish I had done that with some of my work that was lost when the computer bit the dust.

Wow! What interesting backgrounds! I can see how it took you away! I did chuckle with the purse, and with plate collection it just made me go places! I do have some hard copies so it helps with my restoration! But they are just poems and I can write more! lol sam
