Hemingway...
Oh, this was a great write! Especially since I am from Michigan. Use to ski at Boyne Mtn. Anyhow, you done a great job keeping the reader interested - and though 'maybe' cate-gorizes as 'rambling', but very interesting. You are good at taking a simple subject - and make it sound wonderful. I enjoyed it, and it made me homesick :O). - INAHA -

Maybe you can recall some thoughts from the poems and embellish on them,,,Lemon desserts are the best...Lemon bars, lemon pies and I have to have garlic sesoned lemon on poultry and fish when I am in the mood. With years of lemons I have learned to absolutely love lemons in their different uses!
I hope you can retrieve some of your poems if possible.

Sam
Needless to say when I read “How do we comprehend loss” I took a completely different turn in my thinking for in the loss of someone there is great healing in lingering in the memory from time to time. At the very least it fills the empty hole in our heart. But I understand your piece was coming from a completely different perspective.

You just reminded me that I've got to get out and go to the market. I'm out of several things, one of them being lemons. I cannot do without lemons. I am helpless to fix a meal with the lemons are all gone. By the way, I liked the way you wrote about loss. I don't think there is a person alive who has not experienced loss to one degree or another.
