Good advice. I don't use those dryer sheets.
I wonder if fabric softener in the wash cycle does the same thing...

i never knew that so much damage is caused by them. I guess its time to go back to the golden old way of drying clothes in sun .

Dryer balls are hard to find around here. But, brand new tennis balls work pretty good too. A couple of them really soften up a load of clothes.

That is very sad indeed. But you know, we have not been using these paper-things for about 2 years now. We bought 2 balls made of a kind of plastic that you place into the dryer and that un-wrinkle the clothing and remove most of the static. And we have never heard of any of these balls caughting fire. On top of it, it greatly reduce chemical residues on your cloths.
