That would be cool. In my entire life we've only had like one or two White Christmases.

Re: White Christmases
They are overrated! Enjoy the tinsel and turkey and be glad that you do not have to keep the paths free of snow and risk breaking your bones slipping and sliding on icy pavements (sidewalks).

I don't remember ever seeing a white Christmas, although I've always longed for one. Might be worth it just for that experience!

It's too early to wish you and your daughter a Merry Christmas, but not too early to tell you about how I've coped with this problem for the last 20 years. Now although I'm Jewish, living in a mainly non-Jewish society it always feels as though everybody else in the world is going to have a wonderful time, except for me. So far I've always managed to find other people in the same boat and we've joined forces on Christmas Eve, so we've felt less lonely.

I haven't started thinking about Christmas yet. I never do until after Thanksgiving is over. I seem to need to take one thing at a time to really enjoy them.

Before my mom went into the nursing home she lived in a small
apartment for a while. At times it was just her and I at christmas time. We only had a tiny tree that sat on the table. It was good enough for the both of us :)
