I have sort of said something similar
but with different type of descripton.
although I don't think God is perfect (the Matthew passage, "Become ye therefore perfect, etc. ' the word KJV renders "perfect" is in actuality, "Mature").
We would like to impute an attribute that some long ago Church leadership adopted to divide Man from God and the masses from the religious hierarchy.
My God is "God as the Universe as an Organism" -- "YHVH".
