You sweetie! How's your computer doing now?

So very well depicted! I am a solitary healer, too! Excellent imagery and cadence! I have had had computer troubles and so glad I did not miss this one! sam

Sounds like a meal in the crockpot kind of a day....cozy-ish. And what I wouldn't give to be in pajamas right now! I've already been to a class at the community college clear across town and taken a quiz. When you dress at 6:50 you never feel quite all the way dressed....dressing at 8 or 9 a.m. feels so much more...for reals...! I WANT TO BE IN MY PJ'S TOO! You lucky!

maybe a cat, dog, or a teddy bear? Something to cuddle up with! Or maybe you do just need some nurturing...a massage? I've been there and can relate, my friend.

Great!
I'm not sick, but today is all damp and cold and rainy
and it is almost noon and I am still in my pajamas.  LOL

I feel that way even if I don't have a cold
Like this past week, being left alone isn't doing the trick, any other suggestions??

Thank you! And I love it that you sent me a life preserver...perfect timing. Such TLC I've not gotten in a long while...should've been on Blogit sooner....!

Oooh, I know! Nothing worse than having the chills and aches and having someone come up behind you and start rubbing your back....feels like major pain! Solitude is the best for that sort of thing!

I had a bout of "Just leave me alone" a few days ago when flu hit. Noting better than chicken soup and lots and lots of chocolate.

I'm now getting a very complete picture! Bath, music, chicken soup (and I may throw in some mac and cheese, just for good measure...feeling ill gives me an excuse to eat naughtily...it's the achey, cold kind of flu) Wow you people really take good care of your own! Thank you, Elyse!

Sounds like just what the doctor ordered. Because of my blogging friends I am probably headed for a lovely bubble bath...and honestly, the thought hadn't entered my mind until now. What a wonderful idea. I'll make sure there's some restful music playing, as well. Thank you!

Mmmm...peaceful music and maybe a nice warm bath...yes, I think that would help tremendously. Sometimes I'm a 'go-er' when I'm sick, I just try to keep busy till it passes, but that never works. Ultimately I have to pamper myself a bit or it will drag on for far too long. I'm such an impatient patient!

--I think it's because when other people are in the room I feel obligated to make conversation and worry about what they might need; I'm a mom....I have to say that even when I'm well, to be holed up in a corner somewhere with a comforter and a good book isn't a bad deal at all...!

I'm so glad! It certainly speeds up the healing process...! I think half of the battle is getting through the blues that you are actually ill and can do very little about it...and to have someone nurture you is such a bright spot in it all. Hurrah for you that you have that! I love it! I'm like you, I just snooze until I feel better.

You know what....? I have to say after reading that comment that I feel much improved! Husband would surely do that for me if he weren't even worse off than I...he got up and did his reports and went back to bed. It's a sorry sight over here! But I just got pampered a bit through the blog so I'm not miserable! This will carry me through for quite a while and I thank you!
