You can try to sound as humble as you wish, but you are still a terrific husband. Granted, there are others, and Queen V has done the same for you. It still takes nothing away from what you are doing for her now. Kudos, sir.

My mother used to say she only did two things right, raising me and my brother. I think it was a lot more than that, though.

I would right funny posts more often, but I fear my sense of humor doesn't translate well to a written page. It's mostly sarcasm heavily dependent on delivery. It just doesn't work when I right it.

I guess Queen V and I do have everything. Of course a mansion and a yacht and a few million in the bank wouldn't hurt either.

Kabu

I like to think there are a lot of good guys out there. We simply never see them. The good guys rarely make a lot of noise or attract attention to themselves.

I do have those heart-rending moments. They often come without warning, often at the strangest times. I've come to the conclusion it will be this way for the rest of my life.

I don't consider this especially heroic. A hero does something above and beyond the call of duty, something extraordinary, and unexpected. I certainly appreciate the accolades, but this is something I'm supposed to do. This is what she's done for me in the past. No more, no less.

I like the way Kabu phrased it. If I were your mom, I'd be so proud of
you right now. To be mistaken for newlyweds after seven years is such a good thing. It may well be just as good after 57 years...

The recent news certainly supplied you with MUCHO material for comedy.

And, that being said, a partner who pays attention to life as it moves, backward and forward like the tides, and allows himself to move with them, well, that partner has everything in life.

I stopped dating twenty years ago and your posts are the only ones, and those of Wiley and Kabu, which make me even feel the smallest twinge of a sense of loss. I feel no loss, but Almost do, reading y'all.

You and my Wiley are what I call the good guys meaning that such loveing
men are rare. Queen V. and myself are truly blessed. She will as you state, have good days and bad days then good weeks and bad days and I am sure that 4 years later you still have the odd heart rending moments.

This is such a tender post. Thank you for being your wife's hero.
We need a few more of those out in the world.

OTA.
It seems that's my favorite topic. I'm becoming a one-trick pony.
