How to discern being anchored from being overly attached to earthly things?  What if one commits the sin of gluttony in love?  These are very thought-provoking essays you are writing.

beautiful!
I loved the poem but understood it in a different way. I loved what you wrote in its own right.

the beauty of the poem
your translation is beautiful, I luxuriated and read it twice just to the get the full effect. This is not a plain poem it has much deeper and spiritual meaning. You are right! and you put it so well.

I am always amazed at what can be captured in words when the poet reaches to the very depth of his soul to his understanding and then takes it one step more! This, for me, separates the greats and puts them a league of their own! Such as you have depicted in this wonderfully written composition! Thank you for your concern at my blog! I am truly blessed beyond my worth by God! I have the good fortune of being a role model for pain and suffering in the flesh with a smile as long as I can muster! He has given me the world through Blogit and a beautiful home to live in!He took over on the sale of my home when I asked, I told those around me that it would happen and to pay close attention! He had it wrapped up in six weeks!! Those, like me, who are chosen to accept the difficulties with great faith are wonderful testaments to God and I am proud to be one! At least that is my take on it! sam

I believe his intimate depths akin to ecstasy ~ Pablo Neruda was so romantic, sensual, sensitive and fluent in verse again, I find such inspiration from his verse...Ecstatic Joy of Transcedence = Ecstasy? - again, you do well with your choices and your commentaries here lending more reflection and indeed, muse to inspiration~ Write on Abanerjee ~Ely

Abanerjee - This poetic soul of his and the thoughts portrayed here is just remarkable. I read the Strange meeting yesterday once more and interpreted another meaning..each time a new awareness. I will read this again.
