Wow, Shelly, I finally came around to visit you and find that you haven't posted in a while!  Now I'm on the edge of my seat.  Hopefully things turned out okay for your friend, and you'll be back with us soon.

All I can give are cyber-hugs

Please pass on your hugs in similar number.

What the hell is this world coming to?
My Lord! Glad your friend is ok. I'm sure they'll catch the woman if they haven't already.

I got goosebumps reading that too. :/ It must've been terrifying for her to be there.

too many people getting angry or drunk or both and start waving guns around
like playtoys, but they're certainly not toys...we had another crack murder here in this city over the weekend......

I wouldn't know what to do. I mean, no way would I try to stop her. You have to figure the trigger would do. I guess you just have to stand there and do any requests if asked.

OH this gives me shivers for you all ~ Yes, it may be a sign of the times but, I tell you none of that helps me accept this much better.  The violence and craziness is happening more and more - and all I do is pray harder for our safety period.   It is still a surprise to me everytime I hear of such things as this...and so I hope noone becomes desensitized rather more vigilant ~ Hug your friend and I hug you - glad you're all safe.  Elyse
