I Just Realized Today
Awareness of one's self is critical.  Acceptance is slightly more challenging.  Or so I've been told.  Good stuff, samm/joab

You've been here only 2 years? I thought, seeing how well you are integrated to all our lives, that you had been in blogit for much longer...Happy anniversary, MEDEAR! I hope you're here for many more years! And of course, interesting poem, today! I must confess that I really like reading what the others have to say about it too! It some times help me understand it better or with a new light! And, nop, no Freeman lately.

You wrote the perfect poem for my landlady who’s the real Mrs. Sun of a different nationality. She really did fall yesterday. She fell down the marble steps of the back porch entrance to the kitchen. It’s the indoor location that I use for my stories love. A black and blue mark runs down her side. I guess that we can remember her in our prayers. Take care. Lol. BC-A, Bill’s RLJst

Deep and wise, Shelly.  These are the thoughts that can keep one awake night after night, so hard to greet the day exhausted from peering into the mirror.

Very powerful indeed.

Shelly, this is amazing; congratulations! Thanks very much for your note on my post. I too am not fond of food! I think it could happen when we live alone, and even cooking seems a chore when there's so much else to be done (like writing!) I hope you're looking after yourself and enjoying the weekend! Blessings. Nita.

this poem is brutally honest

Wow, that is an incredible poem! Your talent shines from line to line...a
true work of genius and an honest account of our human condition. If it wasn't for Christ, none could or would be redeemed!  Be encouraged. Our salvation is in Christ, not in ourselves...Woo, isn't that wonderful?
