Re: You raised my senses here BC --- akin to a sugar high ~ (LOL)

You didn’t have to worry about issues when they cared about Kellogg’s and Quaker Oats on the shows love. On Ozzie and Harriet the viewers even didn’t know what kind of job that Ozzie had. And Frank Cady played the doctor on that show. I love banana pancakes. That’s right Skippy was the other sponsor of Dennis the Menace. It’s funny that I cried when was it Charles McCord reported on Don Imus in the Morning that Roy Orbison died. It’s Your Anniversary Elyse. I really experienced the ping pong machine in a recreation cabin at a dude ranch in Pennsylvania in the youth group. I remember watching some shows with my father. Before the portable TV in my room we watched in the recreation room downstairs with my mother. She favored drama. You’re right on about activities that help people cope with grief. And thank you love. I hope to write the third draft of my screenplay with peace of mind and without writer’s block. It happened to me on the second. BC-A, Bill’s RLJst

You raised my senses here BC --- akin to a sugar high ~ (LOL)
-- I love this Dennis the Menace commercial and I remembered this...(oh but you age me) and I've not lost my love for commericals... Commercials tend to hold my attention better than programs do --- however, I have to admit the old sitcoms held my attention more than today's. Maybe it was simpler?
I also remember my mother making 'banana' pancakes and how strange it was but, soon we'd enjoy that with peanut butter smeared on them as well...talk about yum. However, I have to tell you that you never cease to amaze me with your utterly rich presentations - I cryed with Roy Orbinson, "crying" and I even got a nostalgic tear with Michael row your boat ashore - (brings fond memories of my eldest brother) - You had me rolling with the Lucy and Linus ~ Happy Anniversary (thank you) . The pingpong machine is a cool setup there and I tell you I enjoyed this particular script of yours so dearly...just chock full of some great stuff and creativity once again - I see vacation is doing you well. and thanks for turning me onto some excellent youtube reviews akin to petticoat junction/ Frank Cady? wow!!!!! Lastly, Benny Hill - what a riotous man. I so enjoyed his humor. (as well as my now departed parents.) I have to tell you that this blog takes a bit more time to read of course, due to all the fabulous creative additions but, it's well worth it and so, is why my comments are longer. I get such joy and find such interest in your blogs. Thank you for sharing here on blog-it...
oh for the question: I find that writing; listening to music, reading books, poetry - art, photography...anything that touches the senses always seems to revive me after a loss...it's necessary to me that is. Why, even strolls down a path - observing others or what ever is brought by nature just revives me.
Have a great Sunday BC ~ and I hope you did have a fantastic vacation Love ~

Good grief, eh
You can just read it through. Treat the links as you would the for further reference bibliography that you find at the end of works. However I found some gems. Just pick and choose. Thank you very much. I appreciate it. BC-A, Bill’s RLJst

Re: elinjo

Such as old music and writing between 1987 and 2003, and then your old family pass away until finally your mother dies. In this case everything old becomes new again. Thank you for sharing, love. BC-A, Bill’s RLJst

Re: great songs here that brought back some fine memories

I used some songs from different autumns. I found a few gems as well. For my late mother she mourned my grandfather and her brother. Both times my father waited until the morning to inform her. It angered her but it was a different time. Thank you for sharing, love. BC-A, Bill’s RLJst

After mourning it's a good idea to take up old interests that you find satisfying; that at least is my experience.

great songs here that brought back some fine memories
how long ago how it seems like yesterday.
No I always gave myself time to grieve. Three am in the morning has always been my time. Cry when no one else is around. That way it is thorough and can be left behind. There are times when soft words and gentle hands don't help, one must do what must be done.
