Hi abenerjee!
It's a beautiful Saturday morning, I have a job, my son is safe with me and I'm reading this thought provoking piece about Chekov. Life is good. Again you excel when you are analyzing Russian writers! well written.

Dear Abanerjee:  I had not heard of this play...such excellent summary.  It seems, by review and through my rose colored glasses, that when life doles out bits of trauma, the ones with the most will to harvest and gather, they will carry on and give back - lending more of their educated hearts.  A great pondering piece here, again Aba~  ~ Elyse

Re: Nileangel "The beauty of GROWTH"
Thank you and that would have been a nice title to my story.

For a soul so pure and always loving, things cannot be disorderly for long. Pray, you have a happy satisfying year ahead. That your house sold in just six weeks is a proof.

Re: shobana
I find Russian writers quite defferent, intriguing at times. My love is Leo Tolstoy.

The beauty of GROWTH!  Is what I got from this.  Old ways die only to be born anew. Blessed Be.

I suspect we are all pavers to a degree as the sisters experienced! Times and events change us! I have been through some rough times this past year and major events will change one and to a degree take a toll! Very nice and explicit write! sam

I like Chekof's thinking, "Chekov’s concept of tragedy which involves not deaths, nor even primarily a clash between individuals, but the gradual fading away of old attitudes and ways of life." I feel the same way about life and the fading away of things. Good post you write..
