I do like October very much! In my valley the wine makers are abuzz
with the harvest! My area was very productive wine region until
prohibition! It is making its way back but ever so slowly like the
aging of it! I loved the poem, too! Shelly

October is a beautiful month in northern Europe. Only one thing spoils it; the thought of the cold, damp and dark months to follow. Delightful poem Nita. Thanks for your visit and kind comment. I hope all is going well for you.

AHHH! October! The noblest of months!
Snowview,
Aside from my having been born on the 9th of this month, October also produces the finest of all possible weather, colorful vistas, bountiful harvests, beauty is everywhere! The certain knowlege that winter misery will follow close on October's retreating footsteps, makes October, wine grapes, and sages, even sweeter to contemplate, when they have gone...... (He said, humbly) Ha!Ha!
