Their situation should have been solved.

It seems that governments are the same the world over
those that care are incompetent, or shackled by red tape, and mostly they just don't care

Perhaps the Mayor should leave the football alone and do a bit of road work instead? Was that a stupid remark?

Good Son ~ from a Good Mother and Shame on the City and their 'officials' --- I feel terribly for you all TAPS.  Oy and it makes me mad --- I have fumed with the city over a project they did on my property - broke some very old fencing...I have this swamp in part of a large pasture of mine due to their inadequacy?  their bumbling --- all said, they just came after I spoke to a new city engineer and fixed it --- cheaply (I might add) and this after 8 years.  It's a Shame on a city and their whole system.  Responsible Son you have ~ Elyse

So why am I not surprised but this is disgusting and I feelso for all the
peopleinvolved. That poor patient bus driver. One just wants to take a bucket of mud fromthe problem and throw it over the Mayor when he's at his games.

Your son is so smart to restore his property! The grasshopper neighbor can enjoy the money now but I will venture a guess that he will pay far more than he played with for there will come a day when it will have to be done! Incredible he has to do the work! At least he has the say! sam

Unbelllllllllllllievable!
If this had happened in a Third World country then the explanation would have been that the faulty fix provides more opportunities for stealing than a proper one, but in the USA what could be their reasons for being sloppy I wonder??????

You can bet they'd be there in a heartbeat
if someone reported there was a mysterious package sitting on the property, and ticking...
