I think you're right on the money Sam

Although it seems odd to me that she won't commit to a simple dinner---but maybe it's not simple to her.

When you get to be my age (50) and haven't been married, you learn a few things about the other sex--like giving them space. I've also learned to give ME  space. If I take it slowly with Anita, it lessens the frustration for me.

Well, I think it is great she wrote! At least she is reading your correspondence! [I often wonder if she is just scared to commit to anything! It is so wise to wait and give her space!] sam

I knew a Anita and Steve (Married couple) a long time ago
