Comments on CONSERVATISM -- THE REVOLUTION THAT ISN'T

I don't mean to start anything here, but I can't stand by and wade through a bog of completely misguided inferences and still keep my mouth shut at the end of it all.  Several things you have stated here are severely contradictory! For example...

You said…

“But what we have on the other side is conservatives doing what they have always done:  opposing progress.  They support the status quo of Big Business being left alone, the policy of "laissez-faire", which had already (80 years ago) demonstrated its failure).”

I bolded the part that made a fool of itself…it seems you are saying here that Conservatives oppose progress, yet, they support Big Business which provides millions of jobs for Americans and other parts of the world which is what keeps progress moving forward to begin with…because citizens have jobs, that gives them money so they can buy things, so the stock market doesn’t crash…so this country continues to progress instead of regress!  In essence…you are saying we oppose it, but we still keep feeding the fire that we hate.  Seriously??? This was just one thing about this post that really got to me.

And you also complained about a 40 hour work week with full benefits, when there are people overseas who would give anything to work a minute for a single crumb of crusted bread!  They usually don’t get it, though, and you find their body baking in the sun of some forgotten shoreline a few days later!

I could go on…but I already know you’re on your way to my blog to start a war!  But it’s ok…war doesn’t scare me; people like you do!

Heck, I’ll even put down my “Big Business” guns so you can come barreling in with your “progress!”

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: That is a lie.......
We do not believe in dictatorship like democrats/liberals such as yourself do. It is obvious what the likes of yourself want in this nation and we will return it to America. This regime must be ended and it will. Your beliefs are so anti-American and your own hatred against this nation is evident in everything you and the likes of yourself write and express. The liberal occupants of congress are worthless and are enemies of this nation as you apparently are as well.  You spout off about how conservative ideas are archaic yet this is the first time in American history that the downfall of this nation is so vividly clear. Your beliefs are part of the problem. I do not believe in having Czar's, I do not believe in having school children singing about a ANY president as if he was Jesus Christ, I do not believe in lighting up the empire state building to celebrate China's communist oppression on their people, I do not believe in taking away a missile defense system that would protect us and above all our allies in Europe, I do not believe in a president having his own logo, I do not believe in a president placing the Olympics as top priority over a war, terrorism and possible nuclear threats, I do not believe in a communist healthcare system, I do not believe in not being able to voice your opinions without having some regime oppressing your freedom of speech and I do not believe in a government owning everything fro the car industry to our banks and inevitably our own lives. So, as far as your above comment "so you're looking forward to your own form of dictatorship? Then you fully well know which orifice you can ram that up! Then again, you would probably enjoy that!

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: That is a lie.......
Liberals have no values. They do not believe in God only Man to solve everything which has been proven since the beginning of time to be wrong in every category. Liberals ideas would have us all in a damn hippie compound being ruled by some damn tyrant dictator. The hell with liberal anything! You would rather kill babies than convicted criminals, you would rather try to talk to someone who is hell bent on killing you than defend your worthless pacifist self, oh yea great values there pal! Liberalism is the problem in this nation and one day you will have no way to spin out of it. That is when we will not see any blogs from you, trust me that day is coming unfortunately.

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: That is a lie.......
liberal values -- I've written somewhat on that right here.  As this post says, liberal values are basically opposite of conservatism.  Read my posts contrasting (I thought you had already -- thot you'd commented).

Have you ever wrote a blog or post on what you think would be the perfect government or what are liberal values? If so then please direct me to it!

Liberal values? What's that? "If it feels good, do it?"

Re: Re: Re: That is a lie.......
And I have also mentioned that Democrats have been cowed by conservative rhetoric to the point they don't stand for the values needed for this country, but cowtow to the conservative side too much.

Re: Re: Re: That is a lie.......
okay okay you are right there.

we looked stupid in the eyes of the world just to protect American industry from having to maybe consider the health of the world over the gross profits they make.

I have said Democrats aren't liberal enough and here's proof.

But a little to the Left is better than moving anywhere to the Right.

maybe now we'll have a sensible government -- or at least bordering on sensible.

Re: Re: That is a lie.......
Did you even read  about it.....The test vote was 95 TO ZERO!   The conservatives stopped it?  looks like quite a few LEFT DEMS including Kerry and Kennedy voted against it!   You are pathetic!

that is correct.  He never did.

Because he knew it would fail.

That is a lie.......
Clinton helped draft the Kyoto Accord, but, because he had a Republican Congress that he knew would scuttle U.S. participation, he didn't submit it to them.

On 25 July 1997, before the Kyoto Protocol was finalized (although it had been fully negotiated, and a penultimate draft was finished), the U.S. Senate unanimously passed by a 95–0 vote the Byrd-Hagel Resolution (S. Res. 98),[66][67] which stated the sense of the Senate was that the United States should not be a signatory to any protocol that did not include binding targets and timetables for developing nations as well as industrialized nations or "would result in serious harm to the economy of the United States". On 12 November 1998, Vice President Al Gore symbolically signed the protocol. Both Gore and Senator Joseph Lieberman indicated that the protocol would not be acted upon in the Senate until there was participation by the developing nations.[68] The Clinton Administration never submitted the protocol to the Senate for ratification.
