Re: Rockingrector retd

Yes violent crimes. In the case of the bill that was pulled off the counter the boy might have thought it was a tip. So nothing personal to Cyrus. He can’t identify the swift boys. The manager probably could but he isn’t in the scene. Thank you for sharing. BC-A, Bill’s RJJst

Over here the police always seem to be the whipping boys. Whatever they do is wrong. They're lambasted for restraining violent people and lambasted for not stopping violent crimes! makes no sense to me.

Re: I think that the police are only human

I guess that you mean my blog. Thank you very much sir. The American cereal company of that name makes this great tasting cereal with all kinds of grains, fruit, and nuts. However I used the nasal spray and green tea with lemon at hand last night.I wanted to prevent coughing from the crumbs in my throat. So, there should be less chance of a typo (Oh gee Word tells me that this noun doesn’t have a plural form.) on this reply. Take care. BC-A, Bill’s RJJst

I think that the police are only human
but that they are the first to forget that and believe their own myth of infallibility. I strongly disagree with the way that the police work, most of it seems to involve "racial profiling" (aka racism) and "preventative measures" which seems to involve removing freedom.
Great post

BC-A - I really don't know how much time it takes you to work on your blog. But I am sure it takes plenty of time. I liked the video of Sarah Vaughan - Black Coffee and Sugar sugar by the acries. It does bring a lots of memories. Thank you for sharing these beautiful videos. And thanks for the nice comments you left on my blog. Keep on the good work

BCA - I do believe in some cases they are prejudiced and that's the sad part. They are supposed to be impartial to race, color, creed and any differences.

I can identify who did it. I'm not too keen on police profiling and do feel that police generally work fairly.

Thank you for visiting the Roost now in the city love. I compile within the framework of a story with film soundtrack license the greatest massmedia and other things of all time. When you comment you comment Thank you for your time. I appreciate it like Andy Griffith used to say love. Tim Conway’s here someplace. The cranky tourist and Bud’s reply are modeled after his comedy. BC-A, Bill’s RJJst

Dear BC ~ Loving this post
Taking me back with Johnny Weismueller from the start of this and on and on, especially enjoyed Mott the Hoople (how do you do this? you have a universe of info stored in your creative brain LOL)
and Betty Grable ~ now what a classic --- all of this beginning with Grockle it (LOL) 'til the end with
Three Dog Night to Where do the Children Play aww what an end ~ I really enjoyed this script - so clever - as always.
Now, as for my answer...I don't know about profiling. I, in fact, was robbed over the memorial day holiday and I considered a white tall man, or a teen, lanky (white) boy that seemed to be hovering at times over me and my cart...however, lo and behold, the pics taken of this very tall woman, very large with a very wide brimmed hat (to hide from cameras - while she used MY license --- I'm 5"1) had no resemblance to me or the 2 other individuals that I could describe. Surprise, Surprise.
Now, also it has been told to me that this was all a type of gang situation, where one would grab my purse and give it to another etc. (I just don't know)
In my views, I feel yes, most police do work fairly ~ it all depends, as I know realistically any bad apple can show up.
Thank you BC for your great, fun, engaging, entertaining and soo very interesting blog.
