The death of a loved one is like one's own death, and all of us are so sorry for your loss. The will to live, however, is the key, and here the doctors have to realize to play a very positive role. Soul says it right.

JShe needed her will to live. A healthy diet would have prevented it. Certainly herbal medicine would have kept her blood pressure low before the infection. Also I remember, reading myself about herbs that help the mind. I don’t know what you think of Rodale Press (before the death of Robert Rodale). I used to read Prevention magazine and their books. Thank you for sharing. BC-A, Bill’s RoostJ

That need not have happened ie the death. People are so hypnotized by Doctors and pills that they forget that they want to be healed. They refuse to entertain herbal medicine!

JAt the time of the funeral of my father my mother and I still had family. When my mother passed away only a couple of cousins and neighbors attended. The generation of first, second, and third cousins live in a cold atmosphere. They go for themselves. Thank you very much. I appreciate it. BC-A, Bill’s RoostJ

Re: I still dont know where to start when attempting to read your column.....
JAnd I want you to love. Is that good? Treat the links as for further reference. I have a degree in history and apply it to the history of massmedia. Only last night I thought of the generation of your parents and I don’t know where I fit in. In the break room at work last night I imagined, looking beyond my co-workers into the hallway beyond at their grandparents and even great grandparents. However love check out the evolution of the Post Honeycomb cereal commercial over two generations. It’s awesome. Post based the early commercials and the cereal itself on a country pop song of the 50s that was made popular actually by Jimmie Rogers. He was like Garth Brooks ha. Ha I know from oldies radio. And then notice how the market switches from the Midwest to urban. This has in common the difference between the joy of the country love song Honeycomb and the melancholy of the country and what they called middle of the road song Honey sung by Bobby Goldsboro a decade later. On the whole pop culture reflects our personal lives. You don’t have to agree. And the sentence structure in comments differs from the structure in other prose. It’s kind of like the sentence structure in The Declaration of Independence but shorter. Yet long sentences work. In this story I work on characters for my screenplay. I want to download the software and write on my vacation next week. Accordingly the story structure begins in the kitchen around the table. I warm up intentionally in this scene. Nancy henpecks Dacey. When she becomes sick he grows up. The scene when he shows her his newspaper story touches my heart as my own ideal in a relationship personally. The screenplay differs from this story that’s just something I wanted to share on Blogit. To be sure relax and enjoy! Keep an open mind and attitude. You’ll know what to contribute. I only want you to understand my concept. I don’t have any music in my screenplay. It’s the last thing that a filmmaker adds. I use Blogit to satisfy it. And I like music across the board. Maybe you’ll see my film someday. We commented about the financial problems. First I brought back my internet access at home. Now I download the screenplay software. Then I complete the last requirement of meeting with an instructor. Finally my ideal hope’s to make a third NYU short film next summer. And then … ha I ran Spelling & Grammar. I have to go to work tomorrow. It’s a job to pay the rent. BC-A, Bill’s RoostJ

ok computer malfunction...
u..anyway but uh i read some comments it seems you have lost some one recently im sorry for your loss. im sorry i havent been around in a while: Here is th best grief card i ever found or got ( i bought it for myself sadley enough):
We are all creatures of this great earth--
interconnected in ways beyond understanding...
Take elephants.
So big.
So Strong.
And yet.
when a member
of the herd passes,
even elephants mourn.
They Gather around extend their trunks
and gently touch
the tusks
of their fallen friend.
its their ritual.
Its how they heal
And its sad, and its beautiful...
So maybe what Im trying to say
is that the world doesnt expect you
to be fine with this
Be how you need to be.
Mourn whe you need to mourn.
And know that
your thought of- with love
So yea, i just thought id leave my mark. Stay well my friend
...gulty as charged

Yes, I have experienced the death of a loved one after hope? But I realised
I was unrealistically hoping. That is why in situations that I undergo now, I am not that easy with hoping and tend to be pessimistic.

No, I have not experienced the death of a loved one after finding hope. They either died too quickly or there weren't any opportunities for hope if a disease of some sort was known.

You must have lost your mother when you were very young, how terrible for you, it must have been very hard to bear.
My eldest brother had what seemed to be a successful heart operation 11 years' ago. He seemed to be recovering well, came home then suddenly one morning my other brother rang to tell me that he was dead; the homehelper came one morning and he did not answer the door. The police had to break a window to get into his house. So yes, we assumed that he was out of the woods.

BCA - I'm sorry to hear of the loss of your mum especially when you felt that she would be cured somewhat. I have not heard of a cure for alzheimers as yet but being hopeful and having the hopes dashed is an awful experience to go through.
