I haven't seen any writer on the block who writes as deep as you do

It seems like it is always easy for you to bring the essence of every thing you write about

Very clever Sincerely, Chuck!

Nita's comment made me think of blind Esperanto speakers whom I know. They can decipher the mails we send, because they have computers that can convert written to spoken messages. However if we send attachments they aren't always convertable so they don't get all the information. In turn when they try to explain the technicalities, I'm 'blind' to their explanations. Thanks for the thought-provoking poem, Shelly!

Shelly, this imagery struck a chord with me, since I have taught blind girls who took notes in braille. I tried to learn it, but always needed specs to see where to put the dots....the girls had a good laugh at that! Thanks for your comment; will be in touch soon!

exploring the possibilities
I must admit this little poem made me think alot about what it would be like to see everything from an inner perspective, and what it would be like...... Thats a huge accomplishment, when someone reads someting and than actually experiences an after effect long enough to carry a residue. Great Work

Hi sam
This is simply the outpourings of one endowed with a gift for beauty, to be able to see it, and to be expressing it so soul-baringly requires mastery, which you are undoubtedly

This was very interesting
I can understand living your life by feeling rather than seeing. I think this is what you meant, in a sense. Braille is a metaphor for our feeling sense but it also is a play on words since feelings are emotions. Bravo! :)

My Sam - what a beautiful poem..what imagination can do in the mind of a poet is astounding.I simply loved this.
Sam, I chose to thank you here in your blog in case you missed it. Thank you so much for being so frank with me. Today you made me cry because it showed that you cared. It is my dream to write and be published. I was into it sometime last year until the unfortunate incidences. I am very truthfully amazed that my poems get good reviews because I started writing only recently after my brother's demise. I hope to have my work published, if it is good enough..I wish. It would be a dream come true for me sweet Sam..thank you so much. I love you. ( as usual the emoticons are not working at the right time..so just know that I am truly touched by your comment to me)

Ah, this is inspiring Shelly. After just recently going to the eye doctor and getting the script reworked, ay and oy, I consider yes, 'braille' and how quickly that could come. Imagination is what's so necessary -- for us all -- and creativity and then comes reality. The mix brings forth a balance. I so enjoyed this poem.
