I was amazed at the diversity in worshiping the same figure! No wonder we don't understand what we are doing as people! On the flip side how nice it is to accept the differences and still move about without complication! These were so very interesting and I can't wait to learn more for you know I adore India! Shelly

Your post reminded me of an autumn visit to Calcutta many years' ago. There was an enormous procession through the streets and firework displays. It was very, very impressive. I look forward to reading your next installment, Nita.

Snowview - My brother in law is a Hindu..so I have heard about Navaratri. What an eye-opening this is..Yeah..I think from now till the end of the year it would be festivals galore!!
