I loved the Drive-in! We have one not too far from Boise! It is such a good memory from my childhood, too! sam

Guy, you're very welcome...I enjoyed thinking back, too...the drive-ins may
be well on the way to extinction, but our memories of them will live forever..

shobana, yes it was a lot of fun...and now there are no more drive-ins
in our city...

..you still see them further up north, but none around here...I sometimes wish I hadthe money to invest in opening one b/c I think a person(s) could still make money on a hot summer night..

AHHH! Memories of Drive-In Theaters!
Rumor,
At least a third of my most cherished memories of my misspent youth, took place in a Drive-In Theater. We had our choice of FOUR!We used to fill the trunk with people, pay $2.00 for two people (Dollar night) drive around back of the consession stand, and let the stowaways out of the trunk. It probably was pretty uncomfortable in that trunk, what with the folding chairs, cooler, bug spray, picnic basket, and all.
Being the one who owned the car, had it's advantages, I learned early on.
Thanks for triggering all those memories!
Guy
