Aww the old saying is 'that sux' and I'm sorry that you felt out of the loop. and I really do feel that is fine to send a card; even if just a 'thinking about you' card ~ above all I hope you don't take it personal, as so many people are so hectic these days especially, that I don't feel it was intended to hurt you or ignore you. I'm not usually the last to know, but it's rare that I am the first to know. 
I haven't gone anywhere honey...just haven't had time to get on the computer much. As winter approaches I'm sure I'll be back here as a regular. XO

My kids usually keep me in the loop. I'd send a card anyway, and tell her you just heard about it. It is never too late to give comfort.

I hate that feeling that everybody knows
something except me. I feel left out.
It is good to have friends come over

usually one of the last here, too...of course with family that think
the computer is "the beast" and others who claim to be too weak to type a couple of line email, I guess it shouldn't surprise me..

Yep, I hate it, specially when I learned AFTER my aunt that one of my bro was getting married! Ok, I was in Germany at the time and couldn't come back for the wedding but still! I am his sis, no?!

That happens to me a lot. My husband will hear something and forget to tell me. It also happens to my kids a lot. I hear something and forget to tell them. It is not fun to be the last one to hear important news!

I find out last a lot but it doesn't bother me! It would be worse if I never knew! Or not! I don't know, I guess! I have shunned TV, too! May I come over and watch the game!? lol Have a great day! sam
