I still stay in touch with a girlfriend I had in high school (I hate to admit it but that would mean 30+ years ago) but she lives on the other side of the country so most of our contact has been email with the exception of a few visits along the way.  There’s also a group of us that we call the “Lunch Bunch”; women who met over 20 years ago that meet a couple of times of year for a potluck lunch.  Those women are dear friends to me….
