Kooka...

God is good. How could He not be?

Jesus Christ's message was not so much for us to obey him -- an interpretation that keeps many from God, by the way - but for us to recognize and emulate His passion for experiencing God's incredible love.

Always the consummate gentleman, though, God never "invites himself over"; instead, He sent a messanger and now awaits your (and everyone else's, for that matter) call.

This is good and respectful of Him. It is your decision, after all. He respects that and, in a polite manner, has done His best, through man's tools, to provide you and all of else with the necessary information to make an informed decision.

Consider Christianity in this way. It is a mind-blowing feeling that can comfort you during trying times, should you decide to feel it. God knows this and, therefore, is quite the vocal member of your thoughts as you search for the truth (a.k.a. God). But He won't break into your house of belief, of feeling, for that would be an egregious breach of trust (one of His mainstay principles, incidentally).

The truth is good. How could it not be?

Look at the truth as if it were the universal truth, or the law. Specifically, it is synonymous with the scientific laws of nature that obviously keep all of creation a well-oiled machined absent our meddling.

Searching

It's great to hear you searching for answers. These are the difficult questions in life that so many people avoid. All I can say is that God is a God of love, he loves you and everyone in your family. And he is there in your hurt, pain and confusion. There's a lot of lies and a lot of truth out there about Him. This is your journey, not mine, so I'm not going to try to solve it for you. You need your answers in your own heart. My prayer for you is that you would continue to ask the questions and seek His answers. They are there. This is a good journey that you're on, even if it is painful at times. Keep going!
