It's what we need and what we should want. However, if it turns out we have to take watered down reforms for a start, I'll take what they let us have and begin demanding reform of the reform, and if necessary after that I'll demand reform of the reform of the reform until we get what we need. If it ultimately proves to late for me maybe it won't be too late for my grandchildren.

Just like during obama's healthcare speech when Joe Wilson shouted "You lie!" He had every right to do that and I thank him for standing up for me and his beliefs! However if you saw pelosi's face when he did that; it was priceless. I thought her plastic surgery was going to crack! I loved it! She was such an angry twit!
Nevertheless, if you got banned for what you said to me then I would protest! You have every right to express your liberal and wrong views as I do to express my right views! Well, now, isn't that refreshing!? I am so glad that you understand that we simply disagree. Obviously I am on the right of issues and you are on the left. However, this will be more like a football game than tennis or ping pong. It is not that I try to persuade members of the left over to my side, it is just that I enjoy pointing out what is real and the truth.
Never get me wrong, I think that the left must always exist because we must have wrong to be able to remind people of what is wrong and right! As a matter of fact obama is doing wonders to remind people of what is wrong. I appreciate that greatly and we all will reap those rewards starting in 2010 and then of course 2012 if not sooner!

reps have, I want universal coverage for every person standing within the borders of my nation and I would like it to be the same high quality as the Congress receives now.
If a child has appendicitis and needs immediate care, I want him to be whisked into surgery without questions, without delay, without complications caused by delay, without dying because his parents are here without papers, but he is a citizen and they don't have his papers with them at that moment.
I want a tourist from France who is having a heart attack to be given top notch care without answering any insurance questions first.....I want America to continue to set a good example.
As we are now the torturing country and the held without charges, trials and habeas corpus nation, I would like up to take some moral ground back with our universal health plan.
We cannot brag anymore about who we are, as so much of what we have become is shame filled. I would like to brag about America the way that I did in my youth, I sure would. We were moving on up, until we started to slide on down.
I blame the voting public for being ill informed or uninformed and for not voting or for voting without brains engaged, without research, without answers to all of their questions.
None of us should believe all that we hear from any big mouth, Republican or Democrat. Research and public responsibility (ie. voting) are the only answers to this present stupidity.
Research. Research, research..............find out about other countries' health systems and then contact your Congress person. We need something better, I need to be covered when I can't even pay the gas to get to the hospital. So do my neighbors' children and parents.
If it is bad to have Christian beliefs, Jesus was a Socialist, read loaves and fishes, well maybe even a Communist, if you want to go all the way with that one story...but, I do unto others as I would have them do unto me......treat them as I would like to be treated. I share as I was taught to do in school.
I care for strangers as my parents taught me to. I still pick up people in my car walking in the rain or the hot hot sun.........I volunteer to teach English, educate people about each other's cultures and teach immigrants to be crazy and foolish Americans, just like the rest of us.
I give people the food off my plate, the sweater off of my back, the time off my busy schedule, the concern I hold for my family, the tv sitting on my shelf, IF they need whatever it is more than I do.
I am not a socialist nor a communist, I am a decent human being and good old fashioned idealized American. I want universal health care for these reasons.

benzinha, I admire your composure regarding RSM, MHW, and others. I'm afraid I don't possess the same ability to take the jibes and baits, so I block RSM, if for no reason than that I don't want my blogs littered with snide remarks. I come here to write, and to enjoy the process of seeing others do the same. People like RSM spoil that experience for me, and I'm not alone. If I had thought the site would devolve to its current state, I would never have signed up in the first place.
Probably I'll get banned for my comment to RSM. So be it. Sorry for interfering. I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable.

I don't mind people who disagree with me. I have no problem with Reds' words, tho' he drives me to distraction with his misinformation and beliefs.
I allow citizens on this planet and in this Blogit to have their opinions and IF they try to persuade me to theirs, they do a better job than if they just call me misinformed and deluded.
I used to have wild and righteous wars with the Mighty Holy Warrior and loved the interchanges, as we tried to persuade each other, tho' rarely succeeded. Civility ruled and the dialogue felt like a good tennis or ping pong game.....
Red is welcome to his incorrect politics, hehehehhhh, as I am welcome to my correct politics....

Interesting when I my comment again and there is no mention whatsoever of any type of personal attack on her which I would not have anyway. What I spoke of here was the obama healthcare plan. I disagree and I know he is lying. I think this particular blogger will be disappointed down the road if it is passed. Look at all that they are cramming down our throats but yet everyone still seems glazed over by obama. Not me. i can't understand how anyone could be so supportive over something that the man himself can not explain and if it is such a great plan then why aren't those in government on the same plan? They want to stay on their plan but all of us should jump on this bandwagon???
With all due respect, I certainly emphasize with whatever Benzhina's ailments are but I disagree with her her viewpoint and I voiced my view instead; not sure why you have a problem with that or why you say I am bamblasting everyone. I could say the same since your viewpoint is different than mine. I did notice I never once called Benzhina's comments "twisted views" but yet that is what you called mine!?! Angry rhetoric? Bully? Verbal abuse? LOL, I can show you verbal abuse from another blogger on here who I have debated for many years. Please point out in my comment where I verbally abused Benzhina? HA!

Well...
Why don't you demand to have the same insurance as members of congress and your president currently enjoys? Since you say that white had to "open up" to non whites and that you want it no matter what it is then why are you not demanding the same as what your so-called leaders enjoy for themselves and theri family's? By the way, please remember that what they have is completely different than what we have now or what obama is proposing to give in his plan.
If we are oppressed with this plan then I wish you the best of luck with your taxes being raised through the roof to pay for all of ours as well as us helping you out not to mention your utility bill being raised 90% after the cap and trade bill kicks in here soon. Let me know how all of this works for ya okay? Look on the bright side of things, even though you not be able to afford food due to your high taxes and will not be able to afford heat for your home this winter you can still count on the rest of us to pay your medical bills so the doctor's will get you back healthy to return to the hell of no food nor heat!
