Oh Taps!
I'll never know what it is like to have sisters, I have only one brother and we are meeting for the first time in 7 years tomorrow in London. I don't know where I'll be able to get some peace and quiet on the road but God knows I'll go insane with two talkative males, brother and son, on the road.

Enjoy the quiet as well as the company!

Taps - I'm with Sam here. One day to rejuvenate and then carry on with the merry making. I saw your video..all you girls seem to be enjoying yourselves..what are sisters for anyway.

Capote was egocentric, but I adored his mind! I hear you on the day alone, one needs to rejuvenate! sam

I admire those who can get by without screaming and yelling.

My tummy's a bit out of sorts today, too.  Wonder if a little bug is going around.  Capote went to my High School (Greenwich, CT), and got into lots of trouble.  He wrote for the very literary magazine I wrote for - but tens of years earlier!  Great post and effective Capote quote....Mal

Re: Pat_B
I'd love to read about you shaking hands with Truman Capote.

I once shook hands with Truman Capote... Maybe I'll blog about that
some time. It was a thrill...  And I can certainly sympathize with the urge to stay in your own little nook and avoid people after a few days of social butterflying.

Re: lustorlove
They've all been trying to work in some naps here and there, so I know the pace is telling on them too.  LOL

Hi Betty,
We miss you too when you are doing something else.  I enjoyed the post and interesting quote.  Hope you feel better soon.
