As always a great story... About the uestion: I have fantasized often about going back in time... what would I do if I could... I think my favorite person to meet would have been Hemingway... I find him so fascinating and I think his suicide was such a waste... such a terrible loss for all of us. I would have loved to meet him... maybe fall inlove with him... loll... Don't get me started loll... Be well xoxo

I have, but always assuming that I could meet only
one (I don't know why I have always assumed that) I could never make up my mind
whom I wanted to meet...

Certainly the death of senator Kennedy marks the end of living American political 60s icons. By all means save your mementos and memorabilia. You have captured history. BC-A, Bill’s RJJst

Thank you love. Not everyone understands that you dream at the time that you write. My writing poems professor said to keep pen and paper at your bed. BC-A, Bill’s RJJst

You have some mind BC-A...
does it ever stop...you must dream writing. I know there's been times I've had to
get up in the middle of the night to write something down or perform it even (I thought
I was driven-smile).

Re: Retired but rocking on

To meet Charles Dickens would be lovely. His stories run like film without adaptation. And characters like Daniel Quilp are hysterical. As interesting as The Old Curiosity Shop he had to put those mean characters in his stories. In this way he showed his point on social issues for newly poor Little Nell and her grandfather notwithstanding. BC-A, Bill’s RJJst

No, I'm happy in the time period I am in.
If pressed to pick a person I would choose my paternal grandfather.

I passed a riverside room
where Charles Dickens wrote a lot of his work, some years ago, on a Thames riverbank cruise. A man of genius.

I think I'd like to have met Charles Dickens. I've always loved his social comment writing and think he changed the lives of many nof the poorest in Victorian Britain. Great guy.

BCA - I love the song Home. There are many people I would like to go into the past to see once again BCA and lots of things I would like to re-do..but right now I would say it would be my brother who passed on unexpectedly. I missed out on saying quite a number of things to him. Loved the post.
